My name is Mack. I am the tall bearded guy. I am a Bio major who is taking this class to learn and become a more cultured individual. I am from Athens originally. I play the guitar. The picture below really is quite bad. It looks like i am an uncomfortable vampire.

Here is a bad picture of me shot in poor lighting but nice clothing. My smile looks like I'm hiding something, my beard needed to be re-shapen.
I hope this is good enough because I have to write poetry about the wilderness.

The opening monologue to the story of my life

"I come from a town but twenty minutes from your own. Its a wonderful place with air, grass, people to cut the grass, and water to water the grass. I come from schools surrounded by cow fields, lush grass, cotton, suburbs, and also manure. The smell as if someone took a lawn mower to a cow pasture on a daily basis. I got used to the smell; However, I never got used to the sky and the artistry of the clouds and sun. There was a suburb in between every large pasture. From 7-8:15 these suburbs were filled like a hive. Lights turned on in the three story houses like the blooming of a flower. After around 15 minutes, a garage door would open, moms would rev up their minivans, exited children would climb in with a lunchbox in hand, and you’d hear the scrape and clunk of that minivan door. However, both my parents worked and were gone before me. So instead of the normal scrape and clunk, i’d hear an approaching roar, i‘d see a strobe light, and then I’d hear the squealing of brakes and an airy pop. That was my sound, my call to action.

I went through my many stages in the hallways of these schools, most of them awkward as if all my body’s features grew at a different speed. I was also a big boned kid. But my mom always told me “you’ll have to grow out, before you can grow up” and boy was she right. By the time I was 12 I was 2 inches taller than the average American male and about the same weight. Ah, I bet you folks think “oh wow he must have played sports like football and of course basketball” but you’d be very wrong. Things weren't going well for me, I ate when I was bored, I looked at windows instead of whiteboards. Then I got diagnosed with ADHD. I stopped eating all the time, I actually thought about people and my life, I started to do well in school, and I was happy."
